Cons: While AvidXchange has many strengths, there are a few areas where users in my office experienced challenges - Mobile App currently lacks a dedicated mobile app, which can be inconvenient for users who need to manage accounts payable on the go

Overall: Overall, AvidXchange offers a robust solution for automating accounts payable processes. I find that the benefits of using AvidXchange outweigh the drawbacks. Occasionally, invoices can get stuck in the system, requiring manual intervention. It’s a powerful tool for streamlining accounts payable processes and improving overall efficiency.

Pros: I really like the ability to process AP while not physically on location. In a hybrid work environment, it is seamless and managers can sign off on invoices no matter where they are. I also like that there is a digital records trail of the invoices, approvals, and processing. This has been incredibly helpful during audit season.

Cons: There were some calls to our community partner vendors informing them of the ability to receive payment via ACH, where the person reaching out made it sound like ACH payments were the only option. I had to clarify with our partners that paper checks were an option, but they were under the assumption after the communication that their only option was to accept the ACH form of payment and pay a fee. I reached out to sales and they said this was unacceptable and they would rectify the situation. Since then, I have not received any more complaints.

Overall: Overall, I have had a great experience using Avid. We were one of the first to use the API functionality with MIP Accounting, and I am glad we made the switch. We save at least 0.5 FTE's on AP. If not for the complaints about the calls to vendors, I would have given 5 stars.

Pros: Easy to use, much easier and quicker than processing manual checks! Avid helps with setup and got everything integrated with our software Vantaca

Cons: Sometimes if a vendor doesn't receive the check, that creates a hassle as the funds have already been withdrawn from the account. Have to create a stop pay and wait for funds to be returned first before re-issuing new check.

Overall: Easy to use, much easier and quicker than processing manual checks! Avid helps with setup and got everything integrated with our software Vantaca. This is all done at a low cost to our Associations/ customers. The cost is less than stamps would be each month if we processed manually.

Overall: Overall, my experience with AvidXChange has been positive. The platform has greatly improved efficiency in processing invoices and payments, reducing manual workload and minimizing errors. I appreciate its tracking features, which make it easy to monitor approvals and expenses. While there are occasional slowdowns and some aspects of the interface could be more user-friendly, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks. AvidXChange has been a valuable tool in streamlining financial processes and enhancing workflow management.

Pros: Avid provides real time Date and updates. Prevents loss of invoice and miscommunication between everyone involved in the workflow.

Cons: Avid does not have a good customer service team to answer unrecognized charges

Overall: Honestly in the beginning many did not like Avid but most of staff has noticed that having real time updates is helpful

Cons: While the software is powerful, it can take time to learn the system; particularly for non-technical users or those unfamiliar with accounts payable automation.

Overall: My overall experience was good. AvidXchange integrates with various enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics, which makes it easier to incorporate into your existing workflow.

Pros: Powerful controls, automated invoice processing, greatly reduces time required by our AP staff and allows us to keep staffing costs down

Cons: Lack of a robust API back-end limits our integration abilities

Overall: AvidXchange has been a great product for us for over 7 years, allowing us to take our AP process fully electronic.

Pros: I like the ease of use and having all the payables mostly automated and in one place. Also love the software’s ability to read the invoices and input most of them automatically.

Cons: It is time consuming to make changes to vendors when you use them for multiple entities.

Overall: Overall I have found it to be user friendly and helpful in streamlining the payables process. They make my job much easier on a daily basis.

Pros: With seamless integration, AvidXchange makes it easy to process invoices and payments. Reduces Administrative workloads so focus can be put on other task at hand.

Cons: With an accounting software there's always the occasional technical issues. There has been some integration challenges when it comes to our budget module.

Overall: Overall AvidXchange has been a great success and Im glad that we made the change. With a couple glitches I feel that AvidXchange is making great progress to fix the challenges that have come up.

Cons: There is a feature to organize invoices, but it does not work.

Pros: Automating our AP back office through AvidXchange was a great decision. The product is easy to use, easy for our supplier base to use, and extremely efficient and cost effective.

Cons: There is nothing we do not like about the product; it has enabled us to automate our AP processing and be paperfree.

Overall: The product is easy to use, easy to deploy, and has grown seamlessly as we have grown our business. The growth of AvidXchange has made our growth easier as many of our new suppliers are already familiar with Avid.

Pros: We have automated our AP approval flow as its now all don't in the system rather than manual handwritten approvals. All end users have taken onto the new flow and it has shortened our monthly close process.

Cons: The portal look and feel can be updated to be more modern.

Overall: Overall, I would recommend AvidXchange. It has allowed to streamline approvals and easily integrate with NetSuite. Its also very flexible in that it picks up custom fields we use in NetSuite.

Cons: We have not run across any issues that we have been unhappy with.

Overall: I would recommend AvidXchange to anyone looking for a quick, low maintenance, affordable accounts payable system that is easy to use.

Overall: AvidXchange meets most daily needs for accounting of payables and assets. Integration to the core system is very reliable and efficient.

Overall: Overall, I believe that Avid is on the forefront of AP Automation, and with technology will continue to improve. It helped us meet our goals in automation and efficiency and allowed us to increase our volume while retaining the same staff.

Pros: Elimination of paper. Clear accounting trail from invoice creation to payment. Clear system for approvals of both invoices and payments. Ability to add supplemental documents and notes to invoices.

Cons: Vendor ACH payment fees are very high. Inability to view vendor payment set-up so we are unable to help them when they have payment method questions.

Overall: Avid allows us to run a very large AP program with minimal AP staff and eliminates paper and hard files. Their customer service is excellent for both the company and our vendors.

Pros: I appreciate the ease of use in the user interface. The user experience can be daunting to new users due to the sheer breadth of the applications. Nonetheless the experience has a low skill floor with a high skill ceiling given the various ways to navigate the various applications and modules.

Cons: The reporting tools can be equal parts deeply informative and restrictive. I believe that boolean is simple and helps streamline the reporting process, but it's also restrictive and can make writing reports yielding specific information to be a challenge. Furthermore, separating information for reporting by certain functions is limiting when there is information I want from one section that's unavailable when building the bulk of my reports in another section of reports. (Like building an approvals report using the historical categories and wanting to use information from the approvals reports within the vendor categories)

Overall: My overall experience with AvidXchange has been rewarding and has been a significant asset to not only my department, but also my institution as a whole.

Pros: I love the capture feature the most and how it learns more as you use it. The ease of use of the entire program is also a plus. It doesn't take long to train employees to use. Workflows can be created easily and exactly as needed.

Cons: The biggest issue is when the system is down and we have to wait for it.

Overall: AvidXchange has made the processing of invoices much quicker and smoother with the appropriate work flows along the way. It has cut hours of work in our company.

Pros: The exact time stamp that Avid provides is phenomenal. Does not allow for misinformation to be committed easily.

Cons: Customer service email does not respond to emails and concerns.

Overall: Avid has made AP invoices processing easier. Vendors are able to go directly to the Avid to get payment updates or can easily search for payment info with Avid
